Mark Spain’s passion for art began at a young age. He honed his skills at Medway College of Art, specialising in technical graphics. After graduation, he established his own print studio in Kent, where he crafted original etchings and collagraphs, setting the stage for a diverse and innovative career.

Career Milestones  

Spain’s early work garnered attention through extensive exhibitions across the UK, including prestigious events such as the 20th Century British Art Fair, the Chelsea and Hampton Court Show, and the Barbican Contemporary Print Fair. His exploration of figurative, abstract, and landscape art led to a growing reputation within the art world.

Evolving Artistry  

As Spain’s career progressed, he expanded his media and imagery repertoire, transitioning into figurative oil paintings that received critical acclaim. His debut Limited Edition release sold out rapidly, earning him the Fine Art Trade Guild Award for ‘Best Up and Coming Artist.’ Today, his work is celebrated and collected globally, with pieces in galleries and private collections across Japan, New Zealand, Canada, and the US.
