Born and raised in Manchester, David's artistic journey began early, influenced by his mother, a talented textile designer. Encouraged to pursue his creativity, David went on to graduate in Fine Art from Manchester University in his twenties. His early career was marked by a foray into graphic design, illustration, and glazed-art, where he gained valuable experience in various creative disciplines.
A Full-Time Painter with Deep Roots in the North
For the past two decades, David has dedicated himself to painting full-time, working from his home studio in Levenshulme, South Manchester. Just a short bus ride from the city centre, his studio serves as a creative hub where he draws inspiration from both the urban energy of the industrial city and the serene beauty of the surrounding countryside.
