The Council House
The Council House is a signed studio edition by Nigel Cooke: a giclée that has been hand-embellished, then signed and numbered by the artist. Because each piece in the edition is embellished individually, no two are quite alike, so your piece is unique. He later went on to open caricature concessions on Blackpool's Central Pier and Pleasure Beach, in the Trafford Centre Mall in Manchester, and at Alton Towers. Having spent many years travelling the world as a charicature artist, Nigel then started to look to translate his unique point of view into other subjects.
A studio edition sits between a print and an original: strictly limited and numbered, but with an original hand-finish. Presented at an image size of 61 x 91 cm and framed at 81.8 x 111.8 cm.
