Admit One - Oasis
Admit One - Oasis is a signed studio edition by Linda Charles: a giclée that has been hand-embellished, then signed and numbered by the artist. Because each piece in the edition is embellished individually, no two are quite alike, so your piece is unique. She had the idea of combining elements of classic songs and artists with the look and feel of old paperback books when she came across a box of vintage books in the attic. At the advent of the interior design boom, her use of structure, texture, bold colours and gold and silver leaf propelled her into mainstream contemporary art.
A studio edition sits between a print and an original: strictly limited and numbered, but with an original hand-finish. Presented at an image size of 64 x 40 cm and framed at 88.4 x 64.4 cm.
