Fair Skies Ahead is a signed studio edition by Ben Payne: a giclée that has been hand-embellished, then signed and numbered by the artist. Because each piece in the edition is embellished individually, no two are quite alike, so your piece is unique. He is largely self-taught, although his late mother was a skilled artist and she taught him a lot about observation and draftsmanship. The first work Ben ever approached galleries with was inspired by the British coastline.
A studio edition sits between a print and an original: strictly limited and numbered, but with an original hand-finish. Presented at an image size of 61 x 61 x 5 cm and framed at 77.4 x 77.4 x 5 cm.
